Oops, this was supposed to be a 4 track EP at the most. Somehow it grew into something bigger, with “is it too long for an album?” and “is an extended EP a thing?” type debates along the way. I’m still not sure of the answer but pretty sure it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

It’s probably a journey or something.

What I do know is it’s eight tracks, with two being variations, of music that someone once described as “the least strangest” tunes I’ve made. Is this me trying to be normal? Possibly. Along the way it touches on house, breaks, half house and dub with hints of barely audible erotic poetry, glitch and jump dub. Remember, when you’re unsure of what you’re meant to sound like, just invent a new genre or three.

Thank you to anyone who read this far by the way, now there’s a journey. Probably should also thank you for listening too.

A couple of quick points. I mention jump dub - There is a track on Forward that is a better example of jump dub, but seeing as I invented the genre, I can do what I want. Secondly, I think i've decided this is an album now, but as mentioned before don't stress too much about it! The only thing I would say is try to see an album as a whole as well as individual tracks. When artists make an album, that is there vision of how they want you to hear the body of work, try to respect that first before diving in on favourite tracks/adding single tracks to a playlist.
